For this week's English language lesson homework assignment we are going to study Italian body language and how gestures correspond to typical every day phrases.
Italians use gestures to express many feelings or to communicate. Many of the gestures have very nice common phrases, also in English, which you should know to make your everyday English sound more convincing.

What’s the story?
Since we began to publish free English learning materials, we have come under attack from very hostile people. Our videos have been flagged for inappropriate content, even though they contain no offensive or vulgar content. As a consequence Google refused to accept our advertising and we have had to eliminate two beautiful, but ironic videos from our Youtube channel.
Why?
Although we are not 100% sure, the fact that some of our content includes non-statist, anarchist or libertarian materials means that we are natural enemies to religious fanatics, do-gooders, phoney moralists and political correctness puritans who accept no other ‘free speech’ except their own authoritarian one.
We are also very unpopular with the corporate English language industry which doesn’t like us offering everything for free. And other English teachers who basically ‘sell’ a sanitized version of England and British culture to the public.

Look at the video below. It has been removed twice from Youtube. We have managed to alter the content and re-upload it twice but every time a lot of people give it the thumbs down. Why? All it does is represent British people as heavy consumers of alcohol. https://youtu.be/fgz3Q2B7S-M
Whose side should we be on?
You can either choose between the British Council, which is basically a QUANGO, or better put, a financial redistribution mafia. They are hugely funded by the British government, funnel massive amounts of cash into the pockets of entrenched cronies and kleptocrats, but are registered as a charity. That means they pay no taxes and can undercut every language school, materials producer and then underpay English teachers. Not only that but they impose a kind of tax on foreign students and enterprises wishing to enter Britain.
Do you like them? Maybe you do. But don’t complain next time you have to pay so much for an IELTS exam. They secretly own it. Before, if you wanted to go to study in a British university or academic institute or get a job in Britain, it was free. You just had to be able to speak the language. Now you have to pay them.
Or, you can be on the side of many of the 1000s of non-corporate, non-statist language teachers who produce such wonderful work. You choose.
